Our Story
Grown from a single arcade cabinet.
From a corner cabinet in a plant shop to Toronto's most-loved gaming conservatory, here's how SavageGameHeroes took root.

2016 — One cabinet, one dream
Founder Devon Marsh set up a restored Street Fighter II cabinet inside a friend's Ossington greenhouse. Weekend queues quickly outgrew the aisle.

2019 — The lounge opens
We took over the full glasshouse at 78 Ossington, adding twelve PC battlestations and keeping every fern exactly where it was.

2022 — VR pods & coaching
Four dedicated VR pods and our first coached esports program launched, running Valorant and Rocket League ladders for West End players.

Today — 40+ seats under glass
Open seven days a week with tournaments, birthday parties and after-school leagues — still the greenest gaming room in the city.

Book your station
Reserve a PC, console couch or VR pod online or by phone. Sessions start from CA$12/hour, or CA$40 for a four-hour day pass.
Get set up
Our crew logs you into your own cloud profile, dials in your gear and pours a house cold brew. Peripherals and headsets included.
Play or train
Queue up casually or join a coached session. Our analysts review your replays and set drills for aim, rotations and map control.
Climb the ladder
Earn points in our weekly leagues, unlock free hours and qualify for the monthly Greenhouse Cup with a CA$500 prize pool.

Frequently asked questions.
Do I need to book ahead?
Walk-ins are always welcome, but weekends and weekday evenings fill up fast. We recommend reserving a station online or by phone if you want a specific PC, console or VR pod at a set time.
What are your opening hours?
We're open Monday to Thursday 12pm–11pm, Friday and Saturday 10am–1am, and Sunday 10am–10pm. School holiday hours often extend earlier — check our contact section before you visit.
How much does it cost?
Standard stations are CA$12 per hour, VR pods CA$18 per hour, and a four-hour day pass is CA$40. Coached esports sessions start at CA$55 for 90 minutes, including a written replay report.
Is it suitable for kids?
Absolutely. We run after-school leagues and age-rated stations, and under-13s must be accompanied by an adult after 7pm. Birthday packages for up to ten players include a host, snacks and a reserved zone.
Can I bring my own gear?
Yes — many regulars bring their own keyboard, mouse or controller and plug straight in. All stations have free wired peripherals, headsets and cloud logins if you'd rather travel light.
Do you host private events?
We host tournaments, team-building nights and private buyouts of the whole greenhouse. Get in touch with your date and headcount and we'll build a package with food, coaching and a custom bracket.
